ecne is dedicated to improving the livelihoods of current and future generations by providing professional services under four themes; shelter, water, mobility and energy. 

We are devoted and passionate professionals who strongly believe in applying our skills and efforts in making something better for those that follow. This is what we love, and we are good at. Our themes are simply based on the first principles of which modern-day humankind need to prosper. 

That is the reason and purpose of ecne, it is our ikigai 

ecne is the brainchild of Dr. R C Moroney. A professional engineer with a visionary flare, a constant thinker with a passion for "doing the right thing". It sounds too simple. At ecne it is simple.

In the digital era, customers, stakeholders, and governing bodies are increasingly concerned about disruptions and implications to engineering as it has traditionally been done.  At ecne, we embrace technology: digital delivery and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) is here to stay. Although technology gives rise to insecurities, these can be appeased by elevating human engagement with technology through "humanology". Both are sides of the same coin: new technologies but embraced by human sciences, and delivered by understanding what makes people tick.

WHAT IS HUMANOLOGY?

Humanology is a discipline that studies and works with and for human beings. With roots in both academic knowledge and personal experience, it helps humans define and attain happiness.

 Along with our unique founding principles, we have four core values:

Relationships – we believe in delivering value to clients. Our clients deliver in the communities we live in, and improving our lives in our communities is central to our mission. We can only do this by building meaningful relationships with the individuals in the communities we serve. 

Holistic – we take a long-term view of both challenges and their solutions. Our goal is to deliver results by challenging the status quo. Our mechanism is simple: we push the "problem lens" along the "solutions funnel" to ensure our perspective is as wide as possible. 

Clarity – have you ever skipped across a flowing river on stepping stones, they need to be clear or otherwise you risk falling and failing. ecne builds stepping stones to stand on with our clients as we cross the river of solutions. What happens in the river is often turbulent and challenging but this is what makes ecne unique. We believe that the devils advocate forces better solutions. 

Technology – the result of any engagement is a product. ecne constantly seeks the opportunity to weave technology into its product delivery. This is where ecne drives efficiency. Technologies are complex, but ecne thrives in disruption, continually improving and advocating for future generations.
